incorporation in the early 1800’s,
Marlborough was offering welcome and
comfort to those who discovered it.
From the moment of our town’s
incorporation in 1803, the quiet
beauty of the Lake has provided the
perfect setting for the string of
caring and neighborly communities
that have gathered here. Members of
an Ecclesiastical Society in the
early 1800’s, manufacturers and mill
workers, hard working farmers, and
more recently, suburban families
have all called Marlborough home.
