“While a stunning first impression is not the same thing as love at first sight, it surely is an invitation to consider the matter.” (Anonymous)

Welcome to Marlborough’s newly updated website! Hopefully, you’ll find it reflects the true personality of our town while providing all the important local information. We hope it will be a place you’ll want to visit often.

Marlborough residents are reminded that at 12:01am on July 1, 2016, all 911 emergency calls requiring the dispatch of ambulance, fire department, or police services will be serviced by Tolland County Mutual Aid Fire Services (TN). Testing of all radios, towers, antennas and other communications has been completed, and we are expecting a seamless transition.

We extend our deepest appreciation for all of the service provided by the employees and volunteers at Colchester Emergency Communications, Inc. (KX) who have provided faithful emergency dispatch to us and our families, and who are responsible for helping to save many lives with their exceptional knowledge and support.

All emergencies should immediately dial 911.

Any non-emergency calls should be directed to the numbers below:

Fire / Ambulance 860-872-7333
Police (Troop K) 860-465-5400 (Option 7)
Burglar Alarms 860-465-5400 (Option 7)

Amy J. Traversa, First Selectman, announced that the Town of Marlborough is contemplating a project to replace the Jones Hollow Road Bridge over the Blackledge River. The bridge replacement project would receive federal funds under the Federal Local Bridge Program administered by the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

If undertaken, the project design would be expected to begin in early 2017, with construction likely in 2020 or 2021.
